Thanks to all of you who prayed for this. We had over 70 people in attendance. Some of the festivities included singing Christmas carols, playing games, door prize give-a-way, and of course...EATING!! A great time was had by all. Rachel came up with a couple of great ideas for the evening as well...Her first idea was that I would take a picture of each family/person that came and print out the photo for them to have that evening (it was a big hit). Her second thought was to have a craft for the kids to do while the adults played a game. So all the children got to make their own candy cane ornament to take home.
Another one of the exciting things that came from this evening was the information that we gathered from all participants. The majority of those that attended said that they were interested in more information concerning "Compass" ministries and nearly all said that they would like to come to our international worship beginning Jan. 7th.
