Went to First Baptist Church Krakow today and it was wonderful... if you know POLISH. We did recognize several of the songs led by the college age praise band. Thankfully they had the words projected on the wall and we attempted singing in Polish. Kids were dismissed for Sunday School during the sermon. I went with them.....Philip and Claire were attached to me anyway. McKenna had fun in her class since she knows 2 of the other girls. Shea said the sermon was good(ha,ha). Seba and Erin were the lucky ones since the pastors daughter sat with them and translated the whole message for them. Before the start of the service an elderly gentleman came up an gave Claire some candy and began to talk to Shea in which his reply was "nie mowie po polsku" (which means that I don't speak Polish). His reply was, "Americana?? I am speaking English." Shea said, "and it is very good!!!"
One other quick comment...The building that the church is in used to be the headquarters for the Gestapo during the communist era...and now we're singing praises to our Savior in it. Shea will get a picture of it soon.
