Basketball update...

McKenna's team just completed their season...at least the games are finished, however we are still practicing! We finished with a 9-1 mark, champions in our region! McKenna continues to have a great time with these girls...her Polish is improving and their English is improving!


Last week, McKenna was asked to play for a school team that her coach trains as well. The team is a younger team and they were playing in a tournament. Because McKenna is one of the youngest on her team she was able to play. All of the teams that she would play against would all be her age instead of being older! She had a great time and she played very well! Well enough to get the MVP trophy! Below is the video...

The older girls team is currently playing in their end of the year tournament. This is a very big deal...We just got 1st place in our region this last weekend and so we have the semi-finals in two weeks. There are only eight regions in all of Poland. Marek, the head coach, has won a silver and bronze medal in the past and so he is "gunnin for gold" this year! I will let you know how we do!
