Shhhh...listen....yep, that's us...takin a deep breath!!

Wow, the last few months have flown by!! Since the beginning of May, we have been extremely busy! First of all, I spent alot of May traveling with the older girls basketball team. We were in the Finals for all of Poland and it was in a city about 8 hours from Krakow. More on that in a moment...Second event, we took this same girls basketball team to the U.S. the first two weeks of June...Third event, as soon as we returned to Krakow, we had a break of about 3 days and then headed to Greece for our annual company meeting...Fourth event, after returning from Greece, we had a Krakow Tigers home football game...Fifth event, one day later, we had a softball team come from the University of Arkansas Monticello to do a camp with the Krakow Tigers Baseball Team that we are starting!

So, let me briefly mention how the girls basketball team did in the Finals and then I will break up the next few blogs with the other stuff...

We were one of the top eight teams in all of Poland and one of four favorites. The first strike against us was that we were seeded in the same bracket with the other three favorites!

We started out the first game pretty well, an 8-0 run, then 2 1/2 minutes into the action, our best player goes down with a torn ACL...for those of you that don't know, this is a major injury to a ligament in your knee...rehabilitation is usually a year! It was pretty much downhill from there! We ended up winning our last game for 7th place...pretty disappointing from their perspective, but it allowed me to "teach" some positive life lessons in this negative situation!

Below is a picture of our team just before our first game!!
