Greece!!

Every year our company has an AGM (Annual General Meeting). Each year they choose a different country in which to have this meeting and this year was Greece. Due to the restructuring of the IMB this was the last year where all of our colleagues would be able to get together as the European Cluster! There were over 800 there, kids included! This conference is designed to be a time of renewal, refreshment, relaxtion, and training!

Our family went two days early to spend some time in Athens sightseeing! Of course we did the double decker bus tour around town...the kids really enjoy this (mom and dad do too...no walking)!! We got to see all the main attractions of Athens, including the Acropolis which was our favorite!

After our time in Athens, we then went to the island of Evia, where our conference was going to be! We had such a good time...Our worship times were uplifting, God spoke to our hearts through the preaching of His Word, Rachel and I got to spend some time together WITHOUT the kids, we got to spend some time together WITH the kids, we were reunited with some great friends, the food was great, and the kids were smothered with love from the many volunteers that came for the week!
Below are some photos from the week...

Philip absolutely turned into a "waterbug"...notice Philip (post haircut) He had been wanting it cut short and there were ladies there giving free haircuts, so we finally gave in!!

seriously, we couldn't keep the boy out of the pool!

Claire feelin' the baby (those of you that don't know...our dear friends here in Krakow, Erin and Seba, are expecting their first...a baby GIRL!!)

I ran and bought Domino's pizza just before getting on the plane...glad I did...everyone was hungry and cranky and then we had a delay of about 45 minutes sitting on the plane...those that were sitting close to us were not happy...the aroma filled the cabin and we weren't about to share...hehe!!
