I now have some idea of how a grandparent feels! A few weeks ago, our neighbor upstairs got a puppy! Of course, Rachel and the kids just love it! Occasionally they will bring the dog to our house to just hang out for a while...so, the way I see it...this is a good situation! We don't actually have to have a "full-time" pet...we get to play with it, laugh at it, love on it, get it all hyped-up on all kinds of food, and then send it home with its "parents" to let them deal with the whining, tiredness, and diarrhea!! (Just like Grandparents, right??)

I told Duncan about your new friend but that you still loved him. He understood, since we're loving on him while you're gone.
