On the 26th we were invited to some friends house outside of Krakow. Basia and Ala (sisters) and their families have just been a true blessing to us!! Ala and Marcus live in Germany, but they have their grandmother's old house in a village close to Krakow. I truly love this place...it just feels like "home"...it is so quiet and relaxing and it gives the kids a chance to play outside and run wild in the yard.
Anyway, we had such a good time...there is a national park next to the village and it is a great place to hike and so we took the kids on a nice night time, snowy walk!

...Rachel, Basia, and Ala...this was the last we saw of the women, they disappeared into the darkness of the night and so all the dad's had the kids...see next picture!!
...I didn't have a tripod so I sat the camera on a fence post to take a "night" picture of McKenna...you can see Philip and the boys in the left side of the photo, however, they were standing behind me when the picture took...WEIRD!! Shortly after this we were abducted by little green men (hehe)!
...love this picture, kind of looks like stars behind us, but it is snow falling...Claire had enough and fell asleep. Right after McKenna took the picture, Marcus said "I think Nicky is asleep too," and sure enough he was. Claire and Nicky are only a few weeks apart in age so check out the similarities in this next photo.
...we actually had carollers show up at the door singing Polish Christmas songs...these girls could really sing well!Inside Fun!!
...not sure if Philip is break dancing or if he just got jacked up by Kasper???
...at any rate, Claire comes to the rescue bringin' the heavy artillery!
