School's Out

This is the last week of school for our Polish friends. Philip was part of a neat musical/dance program at his school on Wednesday and did an outstanding job! He has been attending preschool 3 days a week since January. It has been a great opportunity for meeting friends his own age and learning the Polish language. He is quite popular among his friends! We were shocked to see him dance with a girl....but very pleased that he was nice to her.

The night before his performance he told us that he was supposed to wear a black suit and necktie. We had to improvise and he was upset with us but he fit in just fine. His shoes are camouflage crocs. Go figure!

5th Grade Graduation!

McKenna completed her A Beka DVD curriculum on June 4th. She had an amazing year and enjoyed her studies (especially Old Testament History & Health) and graduated with Honors. She is continuing to play basketball on the Wisla Junior team and practices twice a week. She is learning the Polish language quite well and has several friends that she can practice with. They trade Polish for English! WHERE does the time go? It's hard to believe that she will be a middle school student now!
